Aimed at professionals of animation, video games and new media it will take place in Segovia (Spain) October 6th-9th
The eighth edition of 3D Wire Market will gather again one year more in Quintanar Palacio de Segovia the most reputed national and international animation, video games and new media professionals. It is an indispensable event for the networking industry; with B2B meetings, round tables, presentations, workshops or meetings.
Poster of the 8th edition
One of the latest on the next edition it was unveiled in the last 3D Wire Madrid meeting: the poster of this 8th edition is made by Ignacio Fernandez Maroto.
Illustrator and character designer, Maroto has worked for the animation industry and advertising for 15 years, 10 of them as a freelancer after passing through several production companies like Zinkia Entertainment.
In the poster a giant robot invades the city of Segovia. Apart from famous monuments such as the Aqueduct and the Alcazar a new character appears: the cube pig, a tribute to the piglet of Segovia, also characteristic element of the city.
The meeting, which was a success with more than 200 professional attendees, it also unveiled the guest country of this edition: Portugal.
Virtual experience
3D Wire continues to innovate each edition and apart from a promotional animation 360º video it will be possible to enjoy a VR experience created for the occasion by the production company Paramotion Films.
This is a game that combines the technologies of Oculus Rift and Leap Motion, being possible to control the game with your own hands, without controls or other peripherals. The game will be available throughout the event. In addition, a ranking system to promote competitiveness among the attendees has been included.
On the other hand, the call for completed works and projects has been open, for the first time, to this type of virtual experiences. Furthermore, during 3D Wire there will be a demo area, VR projects and a round table with different experiences around these formats.
